This is easily the most evil megatron and he’s so honest with his evil. He says hate is the only emotion he can trust, he prefers his troops be traitorous than incompetent, and he’s willing to destroy hundreds to achieve his goals.

This guy wasn’t just the signature villain of the series. He was literally chaotic evil, the type of villain that you can’t predict and you can’t leave alone, and he was literally connected to all the other villains in the series.
He's not even chaotic evil. Chaotic evil villains typically aren't capable of remorse or growth. He's not petty, he doesn't engage in revenge, and there's no malice in his intent and he doesn't do things for the thrill of it either. Plus he's not connected to every villain: Oberon and the Third Race end up being such a big threat to him that he has to ally directly with Goliath.

Gods, I hate that line. It reads like something George Lucas thought was deep but, as with most of his writing, was shallow, poorly thought out, and just plain stupid. Anger and fear are natural emotions and suppressing them is more likely to lead to hate and suffering than expressing them. Fear specifically is imperative. Throughout the history of our species, it was usually those that had a healthy fear of things that were able to pass on their genes. The “fearless” usually ended up dead at an early age.

When you see her crying at the dawn when the Vikings attack the castle (2:36) that's really when you get the first real sense of her true character. She's put her faith in one human to protect her kind during the attack; but there's still that doubt as she's turning to stone.

Dr. Z isnt kidding about his zero-tolerance policy; even when he was down to his last three henchmen, he still had them executed one-by-one for their blunders and bungling. He'd been phasing out human henchmen for an army of genetically-engineered insect monsters at the time, since they were more competent.
Out of all the voices Keith David has voiced Thailog has to be the best
this was a pretty intense and well done depiction of someone in a psychotic episode. it's actually very uncomfortable to watch today. i work in mental health now, too
The wrong one just looks better imo. I understand why its wrong but I kinda like it anyway. In a way it's like Goliath saying goodbye to Demona in his mind. Kinda fun reading all the different interpretations though Im a bit surprised at how maany thought this actually happened
